How design can be a key factor in the future of education?

El Poder del Diseño (The Power of Design) is an open and collaborative distribution platform of design tools adapted for use in education. Through this platform, I offer open-source curriculum on design and project based learning while also offering services as a mentor and facilitator of design learning experiences.

My biggest challenge with this project has been to lead design workshops with teachers and kids in Chile where design is still conceived as an aesthetic varnish. I am solving this problem by studying my Master degree to have a more solid theoretical foundation on how design can revolutionize the educational system. With this new experience, I aim to come back to my country to continue working on fulfilling this dream.
