How can a game help people achieve their long-term goals?

Lalalight aims to help people gain control over their long-term personal goals by visualizing their progress and by sharing their efforts with other people that can encourage and motivate the process. Among many technical challenges, the biggest one was thinking through the component hierarchy and the data architecture of the site. We solved it working as a team for long hours in front of a whiteboard to trace the data flow between the components and the database. The result demonstrates how, after many failures, we successfully solved the technical challenges and created a neat result during the semestre.
