How to design a smooth visual transition to communicate the merger of two large airlines?

The LAN / TAM (two of South America’s largest airlines) merger led the company to face one of their biggest communication challenges: developing a corporate image to match its new position as a key player in the global aeronautical scene. Seeking to understand the principles of the strength of both brands, our team worked with different groups across the company, including directly with the CEO of LATAM Airlines seeking to address both the new co-branded corporate image while also redesigning the on-board experience to coincide with the companies new values.This transition brand was designed to be later replaced by the current LATAM brand.
